The version I'm most used to is one with an evil stepmother ( who also is the witch in disguise) convincing their father to leave the children in the woods. I like this one the best because it adds an extra layer to the stepmother, and she becomes more than just some mean lady who vanishes once the kids meet the witch. Plus, it explains how the father, who is normally very loving, is able to let his new wife get away with mistreating the kids, as the witch likely put a spell on him.

Gretel debuted at #3 on the New Alternative 40 Chart this week. Es genial. Χάνσελ & γκρέτελ. Ελληνικά παραμύθια χάνσελ και γκρέτελ. It should've just been called Gretel. Would've been more effective as a title. Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters is the best out of this movies, especially directors cut.

Growing up, I thought it was an unwritten rule that you either was a trekie aka star trek fan or star wars fan. But you couldn't be both. 😂.
